Talking and signing

Brooke has been communicating up a storm lately. She said banana for this first time today... well, actually, it was more like "nanner", but we knew what she meant because she also did the sign for banana. We've been teaching her simple sign language for the past couple of months and she really getting the hang of it. She can tell us she wants more, if she's hungry, and when she needs her diaper changed. It definitely makes everyone's life easier and she seems very proud when she tells us something. I have a feeling once she starts talking regularly, she isn't going to stop talking for a really long time!
