A bear!

We spotted another black bear right outside our front door today. This one was a youngster, probably about a year old. We kept looking for the mama bear to show up, but she never did. It's hard to see the bear, but he's just inside the red square.

Cousins

Brooke got to spend some quality time with her older cousin Emma this weekend. Once Brooke gets a little older, I think the two of them will have a ball playing together and getting into all kinds of trouble.

Fiji Pictures

To commemorate our 1-year anniversary, I finally managed to post all of our Fiji wedding pictures. We saw lots of beautiful sunsets, met lots of friendly people, and best of all... were married on the beach in our bare feet!

First food for Brooke!

Today was a huge milestone because Brooke ate her first solid food! After she tasted the rice cereal, her big blue eyes just lit up as if to say "Wow! Where has this been all my life?!?" We expected her to spit it all out, but she gobbled it right up... although, she did get quite a bit all over her face. We're so proud of her!

4 months old today!

Brooke just turned 4 months old today and is learning something new every day. She's trying so hard to sit up. She can do it with some assistance, as you can see here. Brooke's grandparents, aunt Sooz, and cousins Jennifer and Emily came for a visit. Brooke was the life of the party. You can see more pictures here.
